Hey, this is Dante. Can't answer the phone right now. If this is about Deputy Guardian stuff, try the office line, they can get a hold of me. Otherwise, leave a message at the tone.

[Don't mind Aizawa staring at that phenomenon quietly cautious.]

You didn't see the network? I was a mess coming back from the Dream Docks.

[No complain. But he does makes a face until that last part.]

It isn't.

Damn doctors don't want to release me, yet, cause of blood loss.

[He reaches out for a glass.]

[Dante please.]

Two days. It's okay, I'm fine.

[Which really is after Satou's reckless heals, but you know, minor stuff.]

[He plucks the glass from Dante, gives a toast before taking a swing. It feel like days since he last had one.

After a quick taste, he runs his fingers over his head and through the hair.]

Tch, just one bad trip from the Dream Docks.

[He didn't like it and it was quite obvious.]

Don't you sit in your office all day?

[No, not like he was listening to a certain kid. Aizawa raises each shoulder, cracking his neck, shrugging off the experience. He stares when Dante takes the bottle for himself. Oh well, he probably shouldn't be drinking much anyway. He takes his sweet time with his glass.]

Hm? What else you want to know about it?

In that case, the worst possible thing could happen are just cramps and stiffness.

[He grinned lightly to that. Unless... something else happens in there he doesn't know.]

Well, it was a surprise to the world as well in one point. [He shrugged as he laid back, one arm behind his head as he picked a leg up and propped it over his bent knee.] Something happened a couple years back. One moment everyone had no powers, and later there are reports of people getting powers.

...Something I said?

[He raises an eyebrow before taking another swing. He's taking his sweet time with his drink.]

Can you blame them? [A small shrug.] And of course you have people who abuses their quirks, which were labeled as villains, then you have people playing super heroes cause it was a damn comic to them.

Vigilantes were eventually illegal when the hero law passed. If you want to use your quirks in public, you have to have a Hero license. It seemed the rational thing to do than have everyone jumping in to worsen the situation.

[He gives Dante a flat look after hearing how he has to rebuild his shop.]

Maybe you should of had a 'Knock First' sign or something.

[Okay, bad joke, but he feels for this. One more swing from the glass before he finishes his first one and sets it a side.]

That's why there are laws for quirks to begin with, to maintain the chaos and, keep equilibrium with the people. Not everyone develops a quirk. There a small percent of people who are quirkless, and you got the rest.

[He waves a hand. The next part, he leered away as it gloom around him. Damn media.]

Now these days, a lot of heroes are in magazines rated for popularity, doing commercials, talk shows, and other unnecessary stuff. Media, fame, and money are some main reasons people want to be heroes.

[He smelled more whisky. Aizawa glanced back, sighed as he picked the glass up from Dante.]

Ah, about eighty percent, and you don't know until you turn four. They say it' a good reminder people are being watched over and kept safe or something. Not every hero depends on media by the way.

Besides the vultures looking to write something, registered Heroes get instant text messages when needed. Then there's filing paperwork after each heroism act. Oh, and they work with the police too depending on the case. Hell, I get called in every time it's an over powered quirk that needs to be turned off.

[It takes the second glass for him to relax more.]

Only if you overwork your heroism. [He shrugs with a grin.] That's how we earn our paychecks. And something tells me I'll be writing a chapter on my next trip, if I'm that fortunate.
